I’m in Philly for the weekend. Multiple goals including getting some stuff in Natasha’s storage, hanging out with Casey, checking in on the Bob Jackson which is currently at Steve’s, and sweating my ass off in the Summerslam, coincidentally being sponsored by none other than Steve.
The weather has been a little iffy for the past couple days, including a freak tornado that touched down while I was fast asleep in Brooklyn, and on-again-off-again rain all over philly. That said, tomorrow’s outlook is bright and sunny, with a 90% chance of Eli burning some chumps. Even if it has to be on a Pista.
In other news, in between interviews, I promised Natasha (and with the help of Casey) that I’d shave my head into a mohawk. And it’s officially in place. If by some freak accident any of my follow-up interviews get scheduled before it grows out, the shears will appear again and I’ll have one close-cropped ‘doo.
Philly is, as a whole, exactly how I left it. Same people up to the same stuff. Party on Friday, bike race on saturday, leave on Sunday.
After a little experimentation with jQuery, I hacked together some motion on Rethink’s homepage. Just a teaser of whats to come, but better than what was there before. I’m also struggling to implement jquery in my other motion-enabled sites, although I’m still learning the syntax. Oh, and I scored a beta invite to Google’s new Mashup program. Maybe I’ll use it to tweak my existing Yahoo! Pipes apartment radar program. Maybe.
