While a full review may be forthcoming (depending on if this app manages to ingrain itself in my workflow as much as I expect it to), I have 5 3 1 Evernote invites to give away.
If you aren’t familiar with this new app/service, it is essentially Instapaper on steroids, complete with powerful image recognition abilities and desktop standalone applications that sync your data across computers via their cloud. Check out the screencast for a more in-depth breakdown:
It is currently in closed beta while they continue building the service, but they have announced plans to support all kinds of fun stuff like the iPhone and more. Imagine writing down an idea or a long to-do on your napkin, snapping a picture with your camera phone, and being able to instantly search within the handwritten text. I think it’s quite possible that as long as their servers don’t implode, you might never forget anything ever again!! Ok. I’ll hold off on the rabid hyping until I’ve played with it some more. You can save notes by emailing to your unique secret address, clicking the quick bookmarklet in your toolbar, or by using their Mac or PC desktop client. Note to Mac users: Desktop client requires Leopard (10.5).
Q: How do I get one of the super cool invites to this “evernote” gizmo?
