If you’ve ever mocked up a website, you know that a big inconsistency between browsers is the way they render form elements. Drop down menus, input fields, buttons, and the like. JavaScript can take you a long way, but eventually someone is going to come along with JS turned off, and they are going to see the raw form elements.
Sure, you could just make a dummy website and sample the elements for whatever browsers you happen to have installed, but that’s a pain in the butt. Wouldn’t it be great if you had all the major browsers on OS X and Windows (b/c Firefox looks different in each), prepped for you in a Photoshop file?
