I’ve got some great news to announce: I’ve officially deleted my myspace account! I’ve been planning it for some time, but I’d been discouraged in the past because Natasha didn’t know who she’d put as her “number 1 in the top 8.” After a lengthy discussion with my brother about start-ups and the state of the internet, I decided that now was as good a time as any.
I backed up my pictures, approved my last comments, and hit the “delete” button. You all have 48 hours to be nostalgic while the ancient and slowly dying beast that is myspace slowly gets around to removing all traces of “eli” from its system.

It’s been real guys, but let’s face it: myspace sucks. it’s time to embrace a world in which new features are added regularly, and servers aren’t constantly down while Murdoch adds new corporate endorsements and True ads.
