For those not familiar with Likemind, the brainchild of Noah and Piers, it is a monthly meeting where web people get together for coffee and good conversation, all over the world. I’ll be attending the Brooklyn meetup, graciously hosted by Tina (aka swissmiss) and Katherine.
Last time I had the pleasure of meeting Liz Danzico of Happy Cog fame, and missed Jason Santa Maria by a hair. It was a blast to get to hangout with likeminded people (hence the name) and talk about things you wouldn’t necessarily bring up with friends or people who aren’t in the industry.
who: people like you
what: an opportunity to enjoy coffee and conversation
why: because drinking good coffee with likeminded people is fun
where: At Retreat, 147 Front Street, Brooklyn, DUMBO
when: friday, may 16 at 8:30am
Bonus: I just found a picture from the last event, and I can be seen twice. Can you spot me?

So how did you get into web deleloping career? i think when i met you at temple you were photography major///? anyway, i bought ben franklin’s autobiography from you and we have been facebook friends for a while, but i didn’t really know that you were into web development/design… seriously it is something that i have thought about doing, and have been meddling with for a while… so whatever you could share about the process would be very cool! (olgadv at gmail.com)
how was it? i woke up too late, AND i’m not wearing the asics! bad day.
@olga - You are close, I was a film major at Temple with a focus on cinematography. I guess its kinda like photography, but moving pictures, if you will. I’ll drop you a line to catch up!
@sabah - I totally bailed. I was up and ready, but then I noticed it was disgusting outside and that I didn’t want to ride my bike across the manhattan bridge in the rain, only to have to ride back to chelsea. I’m soaked enough as it is. Next month! I had a lot of fun last night. We should do it again soon.
