This morning I pulled the curtain off one of my latest side projects, a group blog about God’s Meal: “Brunch.”
I’ve long been intrigued by this elusive meal time. Only appearing on weekends and during the hours of 9am and 3pm, it ensnares you with strong alcoholic drinks and indulgent food as bait. Lately I’ve become a bit of a Bloody Mary connoisseur and have taken it upon myself to seek out the best one in the city.
While at Bar Martignetti with Julseas on Sunday, we realized that was a dire need for good brunch discussion and analysis. I mused as to whether the domain http://brunchable.com was available, and the rest is history.
I knocked out the branding quickly and moved quickly to the theme. While isn’t my normal routine, I used an existing theme as my base because it let me get up and running quickly, and set a nice clean canvas. I’m using a modified “Blass2” by 1000ff.de, but is quite quickly becoming the Frankenstein it wants to be.
Do you love brunch as much as we do? Follow us on twitter and know the latest.
OH YEA: We had 100 visitors today! Not too shabby for a site without any content…

Ahh yes le grand petit déjeuner. It is delectable in everyway possible. I must say though I have never had a bloody mary during such a meal, but it is a top my list next day off I receive to meet up with and old friend for such a delightful occasion.
