Going down? @edfladung cars are just bullshit. Everytime you turn the engine over it depreciates in value. But at least you can exchange ownership. in reply to edfladung 7 hrs ago
  • land-line ahoy! (part 1)

The past 3 years I’ve managed without a landline. For the youngins wondering what that term refers to, a land-line was an archaic piece of copper wire that connected a “telephone poll” to your physical building with the help of a telecom for a nominal fee a month. Imagine a cellphone, but for [...]

So, I got banned from google adsense. who cares. nobody “really” clicks on their ads anyway. I think the level of saturation because of their easy-to-use publisher program has made them almost ubiqituous across the interwebs. bad news. click-fraud my ass. they were just annoyed that they had to shell [...]

    August 22nd, 2006 | No Comments

Tin Foil Films has been wordpressed. Finished at 2:53am EST. Go take a gander, run up my analytics code. I’m not sure how I feel about the “tree” look, but it’s getting there. Basically kept what iWeb produced, except minus the inline css (yech!) javascript (yech!) and rastered images of the [...]

Ok. I know you’re very skeptical at this point. I’ve teased you with the idea that I was redesigning this site for a long time. but this time, I SWEAR i have a redesign.
It’s still in photoshop, but it is:

    sexy
    sporting big fonts
makes me want to post more
is gonna be the best thing [...]

I’m working hard to get this thing back up and running after the crash (see: duct tape).
This layout is giving me a slightly hard time, and I’m struggling with a couple plugins to make this more interactive.
Thanks for understanding. My only downtime happens around 1:45 a.m. between school and school.

So I finally did it. I broke my website.
Details later, but know this: it corrupted my database. I had actually made a backup of the DB using Wordpress’s suggested plugin and emailed it to myself. Feeling confident, I logged in to recreate the site only to find that the only information [...]
